OPlayer is a versatile video player that allows you to play your videos directly without the need to convert them. It supports almost every format for video and audio playback, giving you the flexibility to download files to your device or browse a SAMBA/FTP/UPnP/DLNA share over the network.

Rated as "iPad Apps Plus Best," OPlayer HD has been around for 10 years and has continuously improved its video playback and feature enhancements. OPlayer HD offers various features and supports a wide range of formats. It can handle video formats like mkv, wmv, avi, divx, xvid, rmvb, rm, flv, mp4, 4k, mov, 3gp, m4v, blu-ray, ts, m2ts, swf, asf, vob, h265 (hevc), webm and many more. Key features of OPlayer HD include adjustable playback speed from 0.1x to 4.0x, A-B repeat functionality for repeated playbacks between two points in a video, and background play to continue watching videos even when the app is in the background.

The app also serves as a SAMBA/FTP/HTTP/UPnP/DLNA client and supports multiple transfer methods including USB transfer and Wi-Fi transfer. It allows users to play files stored on their PCs remotely without downloading them, making it a convenient way to stream files through OPlayer HD.

OPlayer HD also prioritizes privacy protection by offering support for passwords in the app and folders, hiding password-protected folders, and utilizing Touch ID for added security. It delivers excellent performance, supporting 1080P HD video playback on iPhone 5 and newer devices, while consuming less battery power thanks to its hardware decoding of mp4/mp3 files by default.

The app provides basic file management functions like creating new folders, renaming, moving, deleting, searching, sorting and opening files with other compatible apps. It comes with a built-in web browser and supports network storage options like NAS, routers, and Dropbox. Additionally, it can handle text file formats such as TXT, WORD, EXCEL, PPT, and PDF.

OPlayer HD offers playlist features for music enjoyment and various useful gestures for seeking, adjusting brightness and volume, pausing/resuming playback, controlling subtitle position and size. It includes repeat/loop modes (repeat all, repeat once, shuffle) and remembers playback time so you can resume from where you left off.

For enhanced viewing experience, the app supports rendering on TV via AirPlay, mirror mode, or HDMI wire connection. It also provides the option to lock the playing window to avoid unintended touch inputs while watching movies and has a timing off feature to stop playback after a specified time.

Other features include adjusting aspect ratio to any desired setting (e.g., 16:9), picture-in-picture functionality for mp4 videos, playing 3D movies in 2D mode, deinterlacing, flipping horizontally and vertically, using headphones for playback control, boosting audio, and a photo viewer (In App Purchase) that supports gif animation, png, jpg, bmp formats.

Furthermore, OPlayer HD offers various audio features like supporting left and right channel switching, saving audio track preferences, and adjusting audio delay. It also has a range of subtitle features such as supporting embedded subtitles in movies, automatically loading subtitles with the same name as the movie, manually selecting subtitle files, and auto-detection of subtitle file encoding.
